The springtime brought more than rain and flowers to Lakeview Elementary. The first ever all-school musical, "Thwacked," was performed three times on Wednesday, April 12. Directed by Lakeview Counselor, Deborah Deverich, along with a team of teachers, rehearsed with more than 50 students in grades first through fifth grades.
"I had a great time and felt like I learned so much about performing. It can be a lot of pressure to learn lines and music, but I know it will help me in the future," said the Frog Prince, Joshua Hernandez.
Students loved the show and were PERFECT in the audience! Parents came to watch that evening and were so proud of their young LOBOS. Students who saw the production want to try out for the spring musical next year. "I guess we've started a trend," said Deverich. "When something new is so successful, others want to be a part of that success!"
